These Islands are uncommon, usually small and covered in sand. It's not dead as of natural growth of plants and trees, though there is only one kind of tree growing there,- Palms. The Desert Island is partially in the category of Uninhabited islands, but stand out due to the big visual difference. If looking for a safezone for the night and the player do not have a campfire or a bed (time-manipulation objects), then a Desert Island is the way to stay safe for the night. Desert Islands are the only Island type that are inhabited by a Treasure Hunter and Volatile Boulders.
