The Natural Island Treasure Cache is an item that must be dug up with a Shovel on Uninhabited Islands.
They can be found as a mound of soil with either a painted red X, a partially exposed treasure chest or as an X made out of small black stones. There is only 1 chest per island.

- Rough Diamond (rare)
- Chronometer (rare)
- Ornate Gemstone Ring (rare)
- Ceremonial Chest Key (extremely rare)
Trivia
- Since it gives the same rewards as the Desert Island Treasure Cache, it is best to open the natural one and give the desert one to a Treasure Hunter.
- Some maps gives the locations of islands with a buried treasure on them.
- Obtaining this item for the first time lets you complete the "Treasure Tracker" Steam achievement.
